Who I am
Hi, I’m Maureen, your holistic health coach.
I’m a wife and a mother of 2 boys who are growing up too fast. I’m a proud sports mom and active school volunteer, so life around here is usually pretty fast paced. Like a lot of women our age (let’s not say middle aged 😜), I know what it feels like to take so much time and effort taking care of everyone and everything else that you're left empty for anything you related.
My interest in holistic health was a gradual one. I think I've always had a natural interest in health and wellbeing. I’ve enjoyed exercising at home or being a guest with friends at their gyms starting all the way back in high school. I find the human body and how it works so fascinating. And I've always strived for optimal health. Unfortunately, until recently I don't think I really knew what that meant.
My first “real” job was as a medical assistant in my 20s before I began staying at home with my kids. As much as I liked being around health and healing, I knew going back to that job was not the move for me. Through some kind of unintentional moments, I stumbled on holistic health, then started researching it for real. I started taking courses, reading books, and really learning the concepts.
The more I learned, the more I realized there is so much more to wellness than just modern medicine, and that our bodies often have an incredible ability to support healing when we give them the proper care and attention.
That journey also made me take a more honest look at my own habits and health and realize I wasn't caring for myself as well as I thought I was. It pushed me to make some changes and take time for myself, small at first, which is where I still am, but more to come, along with more practicing and learning. So I can not only create more balance and whole-body health in my own life, but also help support other women in doing the same.
That is really where The Well Within came from. I truly believe there is wellness within all of us, even if it looks different from person to person. Most of us could feel so much healthier and more balanced in at least some ways, even if we may not know, coming in, what could be improved. That is part of the process.
I’m passionate about helping women discover and nurture the “well within” themselves through gentle, supportive, and realistic lifestyle changes that help bring out the healthiest version of who they are.
I’m a certified sound therapist, breathwork facilitator, life coach, and Hatha yoga enthusiast with certified training in holistic health. I’m still actively living and integrating this work every day learning, growing, and finding new ways to create a healthier, more aligned life for myself, and hoping that I am able to help you do the same.
My Approach

My goal with The Wellness Within is gentle, supportive, and realistic health. Real health is built through small, healthy habits that really add up over time. It’s more than treating symptoms, it’s creating balance in your everyday life and helping you feel the best you can, not just physically, but mentally and spiritually too. Holistic wellness is about creating the best lifestyle for you, so you can feel like the best version of yourself.
Health isn’t a static state. You’ll experience ups and downs, and that is just part of being human. My focus is not perfection or changing overnight. We all know how well “quick fixes” usually work. In my experience they don’t. It’s more about taking an honest look at the areas of your life that may feel off balance, or maybe even discovering them, and creating small, manageable changes to help you truly feel your best. This is supportive, intentional coaching designed to make wellness feel attainable and personal.

A Collaborative & Supportive Philosophy
As a holistic health coach, my role is to support overall wellness through non-medical, holistic approaches that encourage prevention, balance, and improved quality of life. I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or promise cures for disease. My services are designed to complement, not replace, conventional medical care.
I encourage all clients to continue working with their physicians and healthcare providers, and I will always refer out when concerns fall outside my scope of practice. Your safety and well-being always come first.
